The Family Empowerment Program is designed to help empower low income and "at risk" families in Oregon through long term support from community volunteer mentors (family friends). Families in our program are matched with these mentors who offer their friendship, emotional support, and a non-judgmental listening ear. These family friends help set achievable goals, recognize and build upon the families strengths, and connect families to programs, skill-building classes and resources.
